F.A.Q.

Do You ship Internationally?

Yes! Due to the variations in painting sizes, weights and possible destinations I invite you to contact me for a specific quote to have a painting shipped out of New Zealand. Larger paintings can be removed from the canvas stretcher bars, rolled and shipped that way You can then have the art re-stretched at your local framer. This saves a lot on shipping costs.

What medium are your paintings?

I use professional quality acrylic paint. Some paintings may contain other mixed media. Details are listed by each painting in the shop section.

Are the paintings framed?

It depends on the artwork. Smaller works on paper are usually not framed in order to provided an affordable way for people to buy art. Some of the larger works on canvas are framed with a wooden strip/tray/float frame. Each paintings shop listing provides details about framing.

Is the artwork Ready to hang?

All work is ready to hang, except for small pieces on paper which will require a frame. The smaller works on paper are usually made to fit an off-the-shelf frame for an affordable option.

Even though some paintings on canvas are unframed, they are still ready to hang. Those paintings are created on ‘gallery wrapped’ canvas, meaning the canvas wraps around the canvas support (stretcher bars) for a tidy edge. The sides of these works are painted an off white for a minimal modern finish.

Do you do commissions?
